Regular readers might be familiar with my moodiness. I posted 2 parts of Riya and then I left it in the middle (I still hope to work it out). My last post was part one of 1 Dollar but the next post won’t be its part two. It will be me fulfilling one of my New Year resolutions – an art house post. To that effect, this one is titled ‘The Sinking Beauty’.
I had been toying with this idea since more than a fortnight. I now realize that excessive thinking can damage a venture, which was about to happen as I was on the verge of trashing the idea due to apprehension about execution. Then the familiar boredom conspired with sudden inspiration and a quick discussion with a friend later, work began.

This story is dedicated to Lohna Matthu Sir, a fellow blogger who has by far been my biggest inspiration on the internet. His works are a class apart. This tribute in no way matches to his depth and wit but I’d still insist that one read carefully as it does has some layers.
