Yeah yeah, I haven't been making any posts lately as some of you have helpfully pointed out(No, not here. This blog remains as inactive as ever.). But you see, I've been keeping busy. Doing, well, mostly, nothing much constructive. My bad and I accept it.
I've been writing two stories simultanously to reduce to monotony since, what, past 3 months. Both are huge, hence the delay. One is about two third complete and the other, one third. My frequency is quite sad though- say twice a month. And therein the problem lies of writer's block.
I've tried writing in the fashion of 'I should' than 'I want to' or 'I feel like' and churned out substandard stuff. Editing chunks of it is depressing but one has to. Sadly, that renders a negative impact on your self perception. My motivation bites dust. And that affects my other areas too i.e. my beyond creativelyfertile life.(Corny, did you say? Like I care!)
So here's a perspective. I will work upon bettering the other aspects of my life better and that will hopefully get the life of the fictionist in me back on track.
1. Hit the gym again, with vengence.
2. Study much more than what's going on.(See, studying gives me a high. Sadly, the process in acquiring the high is monotonous)
3. Restart the vocabulary improvement sessions.
4. Regualte, analysize, introspect and control yourself.
Hopefully, this will help and I'll post both these in this very year, as I've been aiming.

P.S. There aren't supposed to be even distantly personal posts on this blog. But this one is because...to hell with that, this is MY blog! I'll do what I feel like!

@fiddle-faddle: i have a conversational writing style? wow, i never knew that! maybe you should check out some more works, because i have kept varying the styles.
Hey it's ok.This is YOUR blog after all..screw people and their expectations.Just blog about whatever you feel like.You never know.Maybe one of your introspective posts or something about your mundane daily life will bring more readers to this page rather than the stories you post here. ^^

nah, its not about expectations. its about my policy. publicizing personal life is a taboo for me(refer my post SIGH). and if i start doing that to attract people, there won't be much difference left in me and rakhi sawant, except for the cleavage display.

Hey, screw writer's block! Write when you feel like it. Don't force it. And yeah you should go places, talk to friends, meet people, yada yada. It helps.

And it better have Roshni/Pooja in it :D

yup, roshni is inevitible part of my stories. but this time, pooja is substituted with riya for some legitimite reasons.
